Title Insurance Coordinator: Administrative and clerical support which includes phone coverage, taking in new orders, order entry, ordering and follow up of all necessary searches and payoffs, working with home office to insure timely service with strong emphasis on meeting expected closing dates, typing commitments when needed, delivery of commitments, coordinating closings and providing any/all back office support when called upon. Candidate must be detail oriented, organized, with excellent good customer service skills. This person must be must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office with good typing skills, and Internet navigation. You must also have the desire to learn the title insurance and settlement industry.
Title Insurance Closer: The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting real estate closings. You must have experience and knowledge in preparing and explaining HUD 1 settlement statements, basic knowledge of closing package security instruments, and reading title commitments. Two years previous experience in the title insurance and/or mortgage settlement/closing industry is required. You must be a self starter, organized, and willing to cross train and assist with various office duties when called upon. Witness Closers: This is an on call position which requires candidates to be official notary officers. Successful candidates will be responsible for conducting real estate closings. You must have experience and knowledge in explaining HUD 1 settlement statements and possess basic knowledge of a real estate closing package. Two years previous real estate closing experience is required and you must be able to perform a closing with 24 hours notice. Per file rates are dependant upon closing experience and are commensurate with industry standards.
